TODESBLEI
TODESBLEI
Splittergranatendauerbombardement
(self-financed)

These guys from Switzerland surely have got the right name for their band. Translated into English it means "death lead", or "death metal" if you like. And that's what they play: brutal Death Metal. The band was originally initiated in 2000 by the guitar player as a solo project but developed into a complete band. Of the 14 tracks of this pleasingly long album, every single one holds up a high standard, there is absolutely no filling material on this release. Varying from raging blastbeats to crushing mid-tempo parts they managed to write interesting, memorable songs. For a self financed album the production is extremely heavy, they surely can enter into competition with some of the established Death Metal bands around. So thumbs up for this very good start, these guys definitely have potential. For more information go to www.todesblei.ch.
