TOXIC HATE
TOXIC HATE
Demo 2010
(self-financed)
9:24min

DENIAL's leadguitarist Urique Quinones a.k.a. Hatemaster presents us with TOXIC HATE his sideproject, musically not that far away from his main band. The first output is a two track demo CD including an intro with a playing time of little more than 9 minutes. What's Hatemaster offering us with this new band? It's Death Metal in an American way, not as brutal and devastating as his main band DENIAL, still completely worth to check out. As I said, American based Death Metal, which means that we have brutal, groove and rhythm based songs here from blasting tunes ('Toxic Hate') and more midtempo ('Bastard') and an overall great impression. This is a sideproject of a leadguitarist, therefore you can expect that the riffs and solos are in the main focus here. Especially the atmospheric solo in the song 'Bastard' is simply awesome. Hatemaster is the boss here and taking care of everything else except for the vocals. Erradikator is the name responsible for the singalongs and is doing a great job here, too, don't wonder as he's a member of CENOTAPH; FOETICIDE and DENIAL, so can't figure out if we are talking about him being a past or present member of those bands. The little disappointing detail on this recording is the drumcomputer. The programming of it is very good, nevertheless a little annoying and it's too obvious that a drumcomputer is used here. I do hope TOXIC HATE can manage to get a full line-up together soon, with a real drummer as this first output is another proof of the high potential the Mexican Death Metal scene has nowadays. Full support here!!! Check out www.myspace.com/toxichateband or get in touch with Hatemaster directly at toxic_hate@hotmail.com.
