TWIN OBSCENITY
TWIN OBSCENITY
Bloodstone
(Century Media Records)
39:16min

The third full-length of the Norwegian veterans TWIN OBSCENITY sees the return of female vocalist Tonje and the addition of vocalist Dolgar. What you get is rather simple, slow (very) old school Black Metal, yet highly original that's gonna grab you and won't let you escape. Some references to BATHORY - yes, they're probably their closest musical relatives, still, TWIN OBSCENITY are different. If you're disappointed by the last VENOM album and can't wait for the next millennium (I don't think Quorthon will release anything sooner than that): I can see you raising your fist to this slow, fast, epic, evil, yet melodic piece of grandness! TWIN OBSCENITY are both the past and the future! I guess you see I kinda like this stuff... Discover the beauty of evil! Metal up your butt... !
