Afterparty Massacre
(Ibex Moon Records)
48:18min

How long ago had you listened to a Death Metal compilation? If your answer is like mine - ages ago - then you can head down to the Ibex Moon webpage and order yourself a real treat - the soundtrack to a horror slasher flick "Afterparty Massacre" with exclusive and some never before released tracks from such heavy hitters as DENIAL FIEND, INCANTATION, CARDIAC ARREST, FERAL, FUNERUS, GOREAPHOBIA, LIFELESS, FATALIST and SOULLESS. All this Death / Punk / Thrash / Black extravaganza is spiced up with snippets from the actual movie making the whole shebang flow nicely and does its wicked work on your brain! I guess many of the Voices readers are already familiar and have heard most of the featured bands, but exclusive tracks and the great selection will turn this into a different experience and I'm pretty sure you'll discover some cool surprises, like I did with SOULLESS ('Bleed You Dry') , LIFELESS ('Death To The Bone') and FERAL ('Necrofilhiac'). The quality of the material is top notch and the variation on the Death Metal theme keeps it interesting and makes me want to come back to this ditty again and again. Very highly recommended! www.ibexmoonrecords.com
