FUNERAL MAELSTROM OF HATE # 2
(44 pages, A4, xeroxed, in English)

Some of our readers may remember the time when extreme Metal zines didn't care about full-colour-advertising, professional printing and you, as the reader, didn't care of these things either as long as the content was alright. Here is one of these now rare zines, hailing from Italy. 44 A4-pages in good xeroxed quality and in-depth interviews with CLANDESTINE BLAZE (six pages) and GOATFIRE which focus more on philosophy and attitude than on the latest trash stories from touring and the recording-phase of their latest "masterpiece". Additionally, you'll find interviews with ILDJARN, HERETIC, GRAND BELIAL'S KEY, VELES, PROFANUM, the brilliant POTENTIAM and several long essays on Dead (R.I.P.), BEHERIT, "Funeral Procession during Black Plague" etc. and four pages of reviews. Beside the sometimes "not-so-perfect" English, the reviews-section is the only weaker point as all releases seem to be either great or rubbish. Nevertheless I can only recommend the mag if one likes the aforementioned bands. Should be available in a couple of mailorders.
