MYSTICAL MUSIC
MYSTICAL MUSIC
Issue # 10
(100 pages, A4, xeroxed, in German)

This is it! This is not only the zine's anniversary issue, but from my personal point of view also their best so far in terms of its content! On a once again extended number of pages (no less than 100 this time!!!) MYSTICAL MUSIC # 10 comes up with a very balanced mixture of established (yet still very respected) names, combined with carefully selected newer hopefuls in brutal Death Metal and Grind. Want some names? Ok, here we go: BOLT THROWER, NIHILIST, MERCILESS, GOREFEST, CADAVER, MISERY INDEX, CENTINEX, DISINTER, ROTTEN SOUND, DEADBORN, KAAMOS, FLESH MADE SIN, ARISE, MARCUS NORMAN (NAGLFAR, BEWITCHED, ANCIENT WISDOM), SINNERS BLEED, EXHUMATION / NIGHTRAGE, ABORTED, INSISION, DEFLESHED, PERRA KARLSSON (NOMINON, IN AETERNUM, NIFELHEIM) and LAY DOWN ROTTEN. They all got the opportunity to speak out as in-depth as they liked, which results in some highly informative and intertaining reading. Additionally you're getting 20 pages of reviews and a feature on some stupid fuck named Frank Stöver. The whole layout still comes very close to what we did in the late print issues of our own zine (very old school, with lots of drawings, borders and stuff), but that's no problem and pretty obvious as Ralf has never made a secret of the fact, that VOICES used to be a big inspiration source for him. The cover of this issue features a very cool drawing by "Deather" (IN DEED HELL). So, all in all a highly recommended piece of reading (if you're able to understand the German language). The only thing that still could be improved (not essential though) is the manufacturing quality, but from personal experiences I know that this is of course always a matter of money and not easily realizable for most of us. Orders should nevertheless be addressed to: MYSTICAL MUSIC ZINE, c/o Ralf Hauber, Emerlandweg 11, 73529 Strassdorf, Germany, email: hauber@mystical-music.de, website: www.mystical-music.de. This new issue sells for 4,-Euro (Germany) / 6,-Euro (rest of the world), postage paid already.
