For those unknowing "Xiuhcoatl" means "Fire Serpent" in the Nahuatl language, and this issue is the third strike in only so many months from the editor Ederh MacDiel Rodriguez A., out of Veracruz, Mexico and what a fire vomiting monster this half-sized terror is! I swear there is more information packed into this fanzine than many of its contemporaries anywhere in the world, and / or in the A4 format for that matter. Of the tough, gritty substance that is this publication is of course – Metal - in its purest form. Raw and uncompromising with a sense of detail to the overall written work involved in creating this fanzine that is featured here. Not only this but as well with a real personality and conviction from a soul truly into the music, the world Metal scene, and attentive to his job as a fanzine editor / creator, all done with a sense of utter pride in all his duties. Every square inch of this fanzine is pushed to its limit with quality typed interviews, band articles, dozens of reviews, tour information, bio replication and even space enough for multiple full page advertising opportunities. Easily one of the best fanzines I have ever seen or read from Mexico.
