AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR
Curse Of The Outlaw
(Salute Records)
7:54min

The Swedish workaholics AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR are back with one more demo with some fresh Black / Thrash rawness. I really enjoyed their “Death Toll VI” demo a few months ago, for it was a fresh, unpolished understatement. But with their newest offering, a demo called “Curse Of The Outlaw”, the Swedes go overboard with understatement in my humble opinion. The sound of the four songs here is so thin that it lacks of the power and aggression that was so characteristic for this band. Too sad, because songs like the punkish 'Haunted Place' or the slow paced 'Black Flame' might have been real crushers with a better production. Remember guys: extreme understatement have fitted for DARKTHRONE for a while, but AGGRESSIVE MUTILATOR needs a bigger shitload of power than this! The original tape version was limited to 20 copies and is already sold out, yet you can still listen to “Curse Of The Outlaw” at the band's bandcamp site: http://aggressivemutilator.bandcamp.com, and you might also check the label: www.saluterecords.yolasite.com
