HELLSODOMY
HELLSODOMY
Sodomy Is Nigh
(Barbarian Wrath)
30:48min

At the end of the year 2014 HELLSODOMY released a fantastic four track demo, which was heavily influenced by the time when bands transformed Thrash Metal into a new style, the so-called Death Metal. The influence of a band like MERCILESS ("The Awakening") is most obvious. The band played this year at the legendary NRW Deathfest and shared the stage with bands like ATOMIC AGGRESSOR and BLOOD. And what is the next step? The band resisted the temptation of a full-length, instead the four guys entered the studio to record four new songs for an EP. Those songs are now released on CD, accordingly you will find the “Masochistic Molestation” demo on this to 666 copies limited output. Musically and sound wise nothing has changed. And that is good thing, too. Still fast and aggressive riffs topped by fierce, grim vocals. Hopefully the band has enough stamina to keep things rolling until they have the opportunity to record a full-length album. Most Death Metal bands from Turkey (besides CENOTAPH) are not very active when it comes to releasing albums. But I guess that fact arises from the situation in Turkey in general, I do not think the musicians are too lazy to record music. Support the underground by supporting HELLSODOMY! http://hellsodomy.bandcamp.com, www.facebook.com/hllsdmy666, www.barbarianwrath.org
