LAST MOONS DAWN
LAST MOONS DAWN
Episodes Of The Dawn
(Trollzorn)
39:08min

LAST MOONS DAWN's first breath of life is not really an official Trollzorn release but more or less a supported demo production. The band is mainly consisting of ELIVAGAR members and they are trying to build a bridge between traditional melodic Black Metal and this special melancholy music mainly played by 99.99 % of the Prophecy bands. The seven songs plus 2 bombastic instrumentals often remind me of the first EMPYRIUM releases, especially when the singer is using his clear vocals. The demo still shows the two sides of this German band - the first handful of songs are really touched by melancholy whereas the last 2-3 songs are much more rooted in the Black Metal scene. Think that the blackened side of the demo had been composed before the melancholy creations and LAST MOONS DAWN only need to fuse the two hearts in their chest together to further use their musical potential. This demo is maybe not essential but a start has been made and we will see what the future will bring. www.trollzorn.de, www.myspace.com/thelastmoonsdawn
