NAILGUN MASSACRE
NAILGUN MASSACRE
Backyard Butchery
(Slowrunner Records)
39:53min

NAILGUN MASSACRE from Holland comes out with all their rotten, bulldozing, zombie guns blazing on their debut album "Backyard Butchery". This is a rare monster of oldscool Death Metal which will rip off your skin and trample all over you with smelly, pus filled massive legs. The sound of "Backyard Butchery" is HEAVY and I can only try to describe it, but it must be heard and played fuckin' loud! So NAILGUN MASSACRE managed to perfectly mix and cook up a slimy stew of IMPETIGO, (old) MASSACRE, (old) DEATH, (old) MORGOTH, (old) PESTILENCE with a good dose of Doom and somehow make it all sound very authenic to them! The arragements hangs you up on their hooks mercilessly, the grooves are killer, vocals are sick and twisted, the whole concept reeks of stinking awesomeness, aaarrghhh! I absolutely love all 8 tracks on this album... 'Cadaverous Lay', 'Albert The Geek', 'Nailed To The Wall' and 'Head On A Stick'... I could go on and name all songs. They've also got Paul Speckmann involved singing on 3 tracks and the results are mindblowing! You absolutely must support this band if you remember how it was to hear those aforementioned bands for the first time! It is catchy as hell, it'll literally turn you into a rotting zombie maniac! Plain and simple, this is one of the best Death Metal releases this year. BUY OR DIE!! www.nailgunmassacre.net
