RAZOR FIST
RAZOR FIST
Metal Minds
(High Roller Records)
39:25min

Another piece of beautiful black plastic is offered by High-Roller-Records with this cool LP called "Metal Minds" by the American Speed / Thrash band RAZOR FIST. Packed in a great looking gatefold-sleeve this LP brings us back to the mid 80s, both in sound, songs and bandpictures. The vocalist is a great maniac with a typical love-it-or-hate-it voice, but without a doubt charismatic. Musically speaking this 4-piece outfit plays on the borders between Speed and Thrash Metal. Hm, the question is where ends Speed Metal and where begins Thrash Metal? And what's the difference between those 2 genres? If Speed Metal is the more melodic version and Thrash Metal the rawer type than RAZOR FIST have both hearts beating in their breast and this heart beats with a lot of passion. 10 songs of classic old school, probably outdated, 80s Metal for true maniacs who spend their time on festivals as Keep It True and Headbangers Open Air and an insidertip for those who miss the old days. Probably not an outstanding album but a collectors item (limited to 500 pcs) for Metal vinyl collectors anyway as it offers high quality Metal music. Check out www.hho-records.de.
