TEARS OF DECAY
TEARS OF DECAY
Saprophyt
(Cudgel Agency)
33:30min

East Frisian extreme grinders TEARS OF DECAY are back. I received a rough mix, so probably I shouldn't comment on the sound too much. No big surprises, TEARS... stay as brutal as can be and both their singer as well as especially their drummer deliver first class sickness. This drummer is even outstanding among the masses of great East Frisian masters of blasters! Some cool bass slappings add to this release as well. The guitar department seems to have improved, too. About this I'm not 100% sure, though, because the axes should have been much louder. Rough mix, remember? Still, the riffs could have been a little more exciting (track 6 is very cool, though). The bottom line is: for underground brutality junkies, the new TEARS... is more than just a considerable option. And try to check them out live as well, they're really impressive! www.tears-of-decay.de
