Metal Inquisition Compilation
(Metal Inquisition Records)
91:02min

For those who are not aware, Metal Inquisition Records are a sub label of No Colours Records. Or at least it seems like that. Whereas the colorless one deals strictly with Black Metal, the inquisitors covers Death and Thrash Metal. And to be honest, they do it with class with some obscure, yet very good Metal bands. This compilation serves for a purpose to expose the bands on the label. From the brutal Death Metal legends of Sweden SORCERY, the Brazilian Deathrash Metal assault of SOUNDER, FARSCAPE and BREAKDOWN (all of them very good bands!), the Black / Thrash attack of DIABOLIC FORCE also from Brazil, French new Death Metal hopes AFFLICTION GATE, Taiwanese SODOM worshippers BAZOOKA, Swedish MOTÖRHEAD followers WITCHGRAVE, Death Metal bands lead by Rogga Johansson like BONE GNAWER, BANISEHD FORM INFERNO, THOSE WHO BRING THE TORTURE, Kam Lee’s new project THE SKELETAL, the totally fantastic and underrated melodic brutal Death Metal band from Japan INTESTINE BAALISM, also from the rising sun the brutal and maybe weakest band here in DEADLY SPAWN, Chilean Thrash Metal maniacs EVIL MADNESS, and Turkish Black Thrashers EHRIMAN. As a media to expose the bands, this compilation surely does its work, and I must add that I am already owner of many releases from the bands presented here, so that must tell you something. And if a compilation that closes with a VENOM cover is not a sign of something (done by SOUNDER by the way) then nothing is. www.metal-inquisition.de
