HAMMERHEART
HAMMERHEART
Issue # 6
(100 Pages, A4, printed, in German)

Year after year Christian and his crew unleash a new issue of their informative and entertaining print magazine. Therefore I am in the fortunate situation to discover new pearls (at least for me) of musical brilliancy each year. And if you already know the HAMMERHEART mag, you instantly know what to expect, as they follow their chosen path without loosing the spirit nor the high standard of representation. So again, the sixth issue turned out as impressive as before with professional layout, colored cover by Frank Melech and printing on high glossy paper. Musically the zine still features a rather large variety of stiles: Doom, Pagan, Black, Death Metal and Deathgrind, as well as Heavy Metal and Pagan Folk. The new issue features interviews with AURVANDIL, BLIZZARD, DEATH TOLL 80K, EINHERHJER, ELIXIR, ENTHRAL, FYRNASK, HELHEIM, ISOLE vs. EREB ALTOR, MURDER CONSTRUCT, NAGLFAR, NAPALM DEATH, SKELETONWITCH, SOLEIL TRYSTE FANZINE, STELLAR MASTER ELITE, THE MOON AND THE NIGHTSPIRIT, WODENSTHRONE and VALBORG. Moreover there’s a short listening session with MYRKGRAV on their upcoming material, a live review with British Doom gods THE WOUNDED KINGS and a (quite personal) essay on METALION - The Slayer Mag Diaries. Each interview is done in an intelligent manner with the already mentioned spirit and far-reaching questions so that the whole zine turnes out to be filled with a lot of information. Nearly one third of the magazine contains the huge review section with tons of CDs, DVDs, vinyl and fanzines. Dive in and discover new gems, too for 4 Euro (plus 1 Euro postage inside of Germany, for order outside of Germany contact Christian for additional postage costs first) at the following address: Christian Metzner, Landwehr 1, 64823 Gross-Umstadt, Germany, www.adnoctum.de, www.myspace.com/hammerheartzine
