SLEEPLESS MAG
SLEEPLESS MAG
Issue # 11
(56 pages, A4, printed, in English)

If you read my review on SLEEPLESS # 10 above, you will already know my opinion about this great underground zine. Well, nothing has really changed ever since, except for the fact that Steven already managed to put out an even better follow-up issue by now! The reason why I consider this new one 'better' is because of the very cool selection of bands. Yeah, I know - tastes are different, but if I tell you that Grandmaster Willems managed to do very in-depth interviews this time with DARK ANGEL (!!), CREMATORY (the Swedish legend!!!!!!), NECRODEATH, INFERNÄL MÄJESTY, GOSPEL OF THE HORNS, DESTROYER 666, PENTACLE, MANGLED, Sharlee D'Angelo (about his activities in MERCYFUL FATE, WITCHERY, DISMEMBER etc.), MALEVOLENT CREATION, REBAELLIUN, AMON AMARTH, GOD DETHRONED, THE GATHERING (6 pages about the band's early days!!!), and an ANCIENT RITES (studio report) you simply have to agree, haven't you? Very informative and dedicated as usual, so if you haven't read / bought SLEEPLESS yet, make sure to finally give it a try this time. I suppose it still sells for 5,-DM (Germany) or 4US$ (rest of the world), but feel free to contact this maniac before you send your cash on the way: Steven Willems, Kaulerstr. 5, 51429 Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, e-mail: steven_willems@hotmail.com
