THE BLACK CANDLE
THE BLACK CANDLE
Volume II: Into The Pentagram
(40 pages, A5, printed, in English)

THE BLACK CANDLE may be a Austrian based fanzine but it is written in very good English and features very informative, well researched, lengthy and interesting interviews with various bands mostly of the more Black Metal variety or leaning towards the more blackened and evil side of extreme Metal which the editor Thomas clearly has a passion for. In these dark 40 pages with clear and sharp white on black print you will find interviews with the likes of KRIEG, VENT, ENDALOK, OCCVLTA, MALAKHIM, MOENEN OF XEZBETH, NAHTRUNAR and SOVEREIGN. There are no reviews, only interviews, which is an interesting minimalistic approach, but it fits the simplistic layout and design approach of the whole zine. The photos are clearly reproduced and of a high resolution quality. In this modern digital age with an abundance of webzines online it is always great to see old school print zines being passionately produced. Light the black flame and purchase your copy of this excellent print zine here. More info at: www.facebook.com/theblackcandle
