Paulo Lisboa, guitarist and founding member of Brazil’s HEADHUNTER D.C., has left the band for personal reasons. In mid August I Hate Records will release a limited CD edition (300 copies) of “Decapitated”, the self-released vinyl full length from Swedish Death Metallers DESOLATION. The band was originally active from 1990 to 1995 and only released one demo tape in 1993. In 2013 they returned to the scene with ¾ of the original line-up. On June 23, 2017 Hellthrasher Productions will release a 6-panel digipak CD version of "Through Lunar Gateways", the debut EP from Polish Black Metallers ARS MAGNA UMBRAE. The 12” vinyl and cassette versions will follow later this year via Flesh Vessel and No Return, respectively. "Through Lunar Gateways" was originally self-released digitally in February 2017 and solely written and produced by D.A. Khthon with guest chants provided by Hekte Zaren of ADAESTUO. Original SLAUGHTER drummer Ron Sumners has re-recorded the track ‘Tales Of The Macabre’ with bassplayer / vocalist Nick Sagias (OVERTHROW / SOULSTORM) and guitarists Jorge Romero (TORRE DE MARFIL) and Steve Waller (EPILEPTIC BRAIN SURGEONS) at Corpselicker Studios. Drums and lead guitar were recorded near Zürich, Switzerland in November 2016 and vocals, bass and rhythm guitar in Toronto in December 2016. Steve Waller assembled, mixed and mastered the final audio. Ron commented on this project as follows: "We’ve called the project SLAUGHTERING SLAUGHTER, and we hope to re-record a few more tracks from the "Strappado" album with different friends and Metal enthusiasts from different parts of the world." Denmark’s UNDERGANG will release their fourth album "Misantropologi" via Dark Descent Records on CD on June 23, 2017 (the vinyl edition will come via Me Saco Un Ojo Records). Mexican Death / Doom Metallers DOOMORTALIS will release their debut full length "Splendour… Then Gloominess" in September 2017 via Chaos Records. The band was formed in late 2010 by guitarist Marce Méndez (SUPPLICIUM, A.P.D.M.) and drummer J. J. Buño (SUPPLICIUM). In early 2011 Isaías Huerta (SUPPLICIUM, A.P.D.M., DENIAL, NECROCCULTUS) joined them on vocals along with guitarist Nestor (NECROCCULTUS, LEPER MESSIAH) and later Homero (BEYOND SANCTORUM) on bass. Their 2013 debut demo "The Unknown Somber Magnetism" was released through the German label Bloodmonk Rite Productions (the Mexican label Embrace My Funeral Records also released it on CD).
