On May 16, 2025 Dutch Death Metallers ANTROPOMORPHIA will release their sixth full length “Devoid Of Light” on CD, vinyl LP and in digital formats via Testimony Records. It was recorded and mixed by Marco Stubbe at Aftermath Studio in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands, accompanied by Daan Janzing at Pitchfork Studio in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The mastering was done by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio in Osterby, Germany and the cover artwork was created by Richard Schouten. A video for the the first single ‘Cancerous Bane’ can already be watched over here. THERION‘s classic old school Death Metal demos “Paroxysmal Holocaust” and “Beyond The Veil Of Inner Wickedness” will be re-released together via Hammerheart Records as “Beyond The Darkest Veil Of Time” in early April on CD (limited to 1.000 copies) and vinyl LP. The whole material was restored and remastered by Erwin Hermsen at Toneshed Studio. It comes as a jewelcase and the booklet features old photos and an interview. American Death Metallers MASSACRE will be touring Australia and Asia in support of their new album “Necrolution”, which was released at the end of last year via Agonia Records. The tour will kick off on May 07, 2025 and runs through New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China and India. The final shows will be in the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. Jason Banning has joined MASSACRE as their second live, rhythm guitarist. Vocalist Kam Lee commented on it as follows: “Meet and welcome MASSACRE’s newest initiate addition. Jason has stepped in to add that extra heaviness and thick second guitar sound to our live performances. Friday night was his first performance with us and he will eventually be joining us onstage live on our up coming European tour in July. Unfortunately he won’t be able to join us in May for our Australian / Asian run – as his ‘real job’ as a video game designer takes precedent over playing Death Metal – and truthfully the tour was already set prior to his joining.
