As the band name suggests GENOCIDE KOMMANDO, consisting of Kommander Noktu (Drakkar France / CELESTIA) and Kommander Horrendus (CORPUS CHRISTI) promote the total annihilation of all life forms on our filthridden planet. With a picture of a mass grave at a concentration camp and sentences like “GENOCIDE KOMMANDO does not want to be compared with that scene that tolerates homosexuality in our kult” inside the booklet it should be obvious that this band gives a fuck about political correctness or taste, but chooses to be as provocative as possible in a rather cheap and unoriginal way. Musically this horde plays traditional hateful northern Black Metal à la DARKTHRONE and is definitely not bad, in fact I have to admit that I like GENOCIDE KOMMANDO’s aggressive assaults. But I certainly do not agree with the band’s ideology and statements, because this elite crap simply bores me and there’s nothing new about achieving a controversial reputation in the way I described above. Decide for yourself if you like to support “Dark Art for the Satanic Elite”, but personally I’m fucking fed off by all those “dead serious” Black Metal maniacs / bands, who create great music, but try to sell it with rather silly attitudes, sorry… Check the label’s website for more information: www.moribundcult.com
