Holy shit, there are some sad news. GHOUL CULT is gonna split after the recording of their third demo!!!! Shit! But hopefully we still have their second demo "Night Of A Thousand Ghouls" for our greatest necro pleasure! The sound on this demo is very different than on their previous one called "Initiation To The Cult", it sounds a bit "clearer", but be sure it is not shitty at all. I even think that this demo is better, especially when it comes to the compositions! Argh! I worship the necro hymn called ‘Fucked By The Living Dead’, everything is perfect in this song! They know how to deliver really fine Thrash Metal anthems, and it is still in the old German Thrash Metal tradition for sure. I strongly encourage you to ask Johnny Tombtrasher to copy this sold out demo for you and to watch out for their next demo before they split. I don’t really see what I can add more than what I already wrote in the review of "Initiation to the cult", because the spirit is the same here, and I am sure that no one will be disappointed by the cult of ghouls! I would like to see a re release of the GHOUL CULT demos on vinyl, it would be killer, but sadly enough, I think it’s a pity that the band is not big enough for that.
