Very soon, the HEADBANGERS OPEN AIR, one of the most cult underground Metal festivals is going to open its gates once more. From July 24 – 26, 2008 Metal fans from all over the world will experience an enormously relaxed atmosphere, great music and good North German beer (plus: in case you’re coming over for the W-O-A: why not come one weekend earlier anyway? Tickets for 35,- € are still available). Joining the "biggest Metal barbecue" in the world will be legends such as DEADLY BLESSING, LETHAL, SWEET SAVAGE, DÉTENTE (with Hellion’s Ann Boleyn on vocals), DESTRUCTOR, AXEHAMMER, WILD DOGS or NEW EDEN as well as treats like PICTURE, SODOM, BLAZE BAILEY (with loads of MAIDEN tracks in his setlist), BEEHLER (ex-EXCITER) and – according to the band – the last DEATH SS show ever!
