Pulverised Records welcomes MORBUS CHRON, one of the rawest young talents worshipping this particular old style of pure Death Metal. Strictly sticking to the tradition of demo cassette tapes, MORBUS CHRON previously released a self-titled 4-track demo tape, which attracted favorable responses everywhere. MORBUS CHRON is now preparing to enter the studio, for what will become their debut full-length album. Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo comments: "I was amazed by MORBUS CHRON when I first heard them, it was almost unbelievable that the band is so young and they could capture the essence of the old Death Metal style. Influences like Autopsy and early Entombed are easily spotted in the songs, but there is just a certain fire and enthusiasm coming from MORBUS CHRON that cannot be described and we are very much looking forward to the debut album!" States MORBUS CHRON lead singer / guitar player Robert "Robba" Andersson: "We’re as excited as we are when robbing graves! Feels fucking great! Like opening a can of ravioli, but even better dude. What can we say? It’ll sound disgusting and putrid with just a tiny dose of groovyness. New songs are on the way and it sounds like Autop… Ehm, Morbus! If you’re into the old way, you’re into our way. Total fuckin’ Death!" In other MORBUS CHRON-related news, the band will make their appearance at the upcoming "Resurrected In Festering Slime Festival", happening at the legendary Kafé 44 from the 6th – 7th November 2009.
