DENIAL FIEND have announced a string of dates with OBITUARY. The tour will kick off on November 12th in Tampa, Florida. You’ll find the dates in our tourdates section. DENIAL FIEND’s Terry Butler (who will be pulling double duty on this tour as a stand-in bassist for OBITUARY) had this to say about the outing, "First off we would like to thank OBITUARY for asking us to be part of their "East Coast Possession Tour", very cool indeed. Winnipeg, Canada’s ANNEX THEORY, which features in its ranks former QUO VADIS vocalist Trevor Birnie, has released the following footage taken from the band’s Eastern Canadian tour supporting LAIKA: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7eUj84ir6M. The band plans on following up its "Beneath The Skin" EP this fall with a self-released and free-to-download cover of the RUSH classic ‘Subdivisions’ and a brand new song to be mixed by Travis Montgomery (THREAT SIGNAL). ANNEX THEORY previously made the track entitled ‘Orbit’ available for streaming at http://got-djent.com/article/exclusive-new-annex-theory-song-orbit. The track comes off the band’s debut EP "Beneath The Skin", which was released digitally in all major web-retail outlets and streaming services via Pivotal Rockordingson June 1st, 2011. "Beneath The Skin" was produced and mixed by Carlin "Lemon" Heibert, cousin of COMEBACK KID guitarist Jeremy Heibert, and was mastered by TESSERACT guitarist Acle Kahney. The artwork was designed by drummer Adam Jefkins – who had previously assisted in costume designing for the 2011 feature film Goon, starring Sean William Scott (American Pie, Role Models) and Jay Bruchel (How To Train Your Dragon, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tropic Thunder). "Deception Among Birds", the newest album from Chicago grinders HARPOON is now available through Seventh Rule Recordings. To spread the word, Seventh Rule has teamed up with Hails And Horns Magazine to bring fans two track from the album. Arizona Thrashers HEMOPTYSIS have released a music video for the track ‘M.O.D.’, taken from their latest album "Misanthropic Slaughter". The video was shot earlier this month in an abandon warehouse in Vail, AZ. Production and direction came courtesy of Sean Sinerius and Robert Jaime at Big Shot Studios. EVOCATION will once again be supporting ARCH ENEMY on their ongoing world tour. This time it’s on Swedish soil, to be exact in Lund at Mejeriet the 11th of November. It’s the first time for the band to play in Lund.
