On January 11, 2013 Svart Records will release ATOMIC CRIES‘ new 7", "Suspended Between The Mouth Of God And The Fist Of Man". Both featured tracks (‘False Prophecies’ and ‘The Atheist’) are currently available for streaming at the band’s Bandcamp site. The EP is a precursor to ATOMIC CRIES’ forthcoming debut album. The band issued the following statement: "We are ATOMIC CRIES, and since 2010 we have played Primitive Doom Metal exclusively. No flares, no bongs, no irony, no pseudo-occult nonsense. We worship at the altar of Armando Acosta. We love SAINT VITUS, TROUBLE and BLACK SABBATH, but we sound like none of them. This 7" contains two tracks of uncompromising, slow downer-rock that refuses to be easily categorised. Colombian Death / Black Metallers NEPENTE have released a video for the title track to their forthcoming album "Suffering Is The Seed" at this location. The album was mixed and mastered at Poland’s Hertz Recording Studio (VADER, HATE, BEHEMOTH, DECAPITATED, etc) and will be released through MetalHit.com.
