BROKEN HOPE have parted ways with bass player Shaun Glass and guitarist Chuck Wepfer, who would like to concentrate more on their Rock band THE BLOODLINE. They both have already been replaced by Diego Soria (of DISGORGE) and Matt Szlachta (of CHIMAIRA). Shaun Glass issued the following statement: "We have been very focused and busy with our main band THE BLOODLINE so much that we haven’t had any time to be part of BROKEN HOPE for the last 4-5 months as we can’t commit to two bands 100 percent. That said, we aren’t a part of BROKEN HOPE anymore, but we wish them and their new members, Matt Szlachta (DIRGE WITHIN, CHIMAIRA) and Diego Soria (DISGORGE), the best with what they do. And to all the amazing BROKEN HOPE fans, we will see you on the road." More about BROKEN HOPE at www.facebook.com/brokenhopeofficial

ACHERON have recruited Brandon Howe as their new drummer. He replaces Kyle Severn and already played a couple of shows with the band on their "Unleash Hell" tour in 2014. ACHERON are currently working on new material for their next album. Vincent Crowley commented the change of drummers like this: "Brandon has been very dedicated and has shown a tremendous amount of energy and creativity. He is a very solid drummer and playing live with him has been a pleasure. After rehearsing our setlist we started to work on a couple new songs. He was very easy to work with and brings a lot to the table. After our show in Baltimore we knew he was going to be our new drummer." Bass player Terry Butler and vocalist Ed Webb have parted ways with Florida Death Metallers MASSACRE. As a result of that the band has officially split-up. Here’s Terry Butler’s official statement: "It is with great regret that I announce my departure from MASSACRE. I wish Ed, Mikey and Rick the best of luck in their future endeavors. I want to thank the fans for their amazing support and loyalty and helping everyone who worked to bring the band back. Thank you all." Ed Webb issued the following comments: "After much thought and consideration it is with deep regret that I announce my departure from MASSACRE. This was not an easy decision to make but a necessary one. The last four years have had its share of both unbelievable times as well as some times I wish to forget. I want to thank all of the MASSACRE fans, those who accepted me as the new vocalist as well as those who didn’t. You guys gave me the desire to work harder than I ever had in the past. I also had the privilege to play some of the most incredible shows, do some killer tours and meet a lot of great people along the way. At this point, I am going to just concentrate on my two main projects (GENERICHRIST and DESTINED TO RUIN) as well as a few other projects I am working on. I want to endlessly thank Terry, Rick and Mikey for the opportunity to record an absolutely crushing CD and get to tour around the world with them. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. I hope to see everyone in the future and thanks for letting me do what I live to do!" www.massacremetal.com

VENOM will release their 14th studio album "From The Very Depths" on January 27, 2015 via Spinefarm Records. Here’s what Cronos already had to say about it: “This album is perfect, all three members are totally over-the-top confident with the new songs and the production. We had a great atmosphere in the studio while we were recording. Dante created pure thunder from his drums, while Rage tears the flesh off your face with his riffs, making everything fall into place so well. It’s a strong release and really shows the band maturing into an unstoppable force of pure Black Metal. We can’t wait to play the new songs live for the Legions… Hell Yeah!” More info at www.venomslegions.com
