Zurich, Switzerland based TRIUMPH OF DEATH will be playing HELLHAMMER’s music on stage in 2019. The band, that is supposed to be a very respectful and authentic tribute to HELLHAMMER, was founded by former HELLHAMMER / CELTIC FROST (and current TRIPTYKON, NIRYTH) member Tom Gabriel Warrior (vocals / guitar). The line-up is completed by Mia Wallace (NIRYTH, THE TRUE ENDLESS, KIRLIAN CAMERA) – bass, Michael Zech (SECRETS OF THE MOON, ODEM ARCARUM) – guitar / vocals and Alessandro Comerio (FORGOTTEN TOMB, THE TRUE ENDLESS, HIEMS) – drums. TRIUMPH OF DEATH will only play a few selected concerts and apart from considerations regarding the release of an occasional live EP, no new music will be recorded. An appearance at 2019’s edition of Hellfest (June 21, 2019 in Clisson, France) is already confirmed. More dates to follow.
