Japan’s Speed / Thrash Metallers FASTKILL have been signed by Pulverised Records. Ever since their origin in 1996 the band has released a couple of demos and split EPs as well as three full-length albums ("Infernal Thrashing Holocaust" – 2004, "Nuclear Thrashing Attack" – 2007 and "Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer" – 2011). "Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer" will now receive a North American and European licensing distribution exclusively through Pulverised Records. 17 years after the release of their last full-length album "Silence" Norway’s blackened Death Metallers FESTER return to the scene with a new album entitled "A Celebration Of Death" that is scheduled for a mid-March release through Abyss Records. The CD release will include a 16-page booklet. Flooga Records will be issuing a vinyl version with laminated gatefold and heavy inner sleeve. Total Holocaust Records will release a limited edition cassette version (100 copies only) with alternate, hand drawn cover and artwork. "A Celebration Of Death" features the following tracks: ‘Rites Of Ceres’, ‘The Black Tower’, ‘March Of Death’, ‘I’ll Hunt You Down’, ‘Metalized’, ‘Jeg Spytter På Deg’, ‘Last Day Of Battle Pt.I’, ‘Last Day Of Battle Pt.II’, ‘A Face For A Funeral’ (bonus) and ‘Rites Of Mortiis’ (Remix of ‘Rites Of Ceres’ by Mortiis). Polish Death Metallers CENTURION have signed a contract with Psycho Records for the release of their second full-length album "Serve No One". The album is scheduled for a March 14, 2012 release and was recorded in various sessions throughout 2010 at Progresja Studio in Warsaw, with engineer Pawel Janos Grabowski. Piotr Mittloff Kozieradzki (RIVERSIDE) was responsible for the mix and Andy Blakk (CONQUEST ICON, EMPHERIS) for the mastering. "Desperate Truth", the debut album by Japanese Death Thrashers VOIDD, that originally came out on Evil Records in 1993 (re-released on vinyl by HMSS in 2007 only in a super limited number of 105 copies) will be re-released by China’s AreaDeath Productions with extended layout / packaging, all lyrics and tons of rare photos. The reissue will be limited to 1000 copies, got remastered and includes a bonus disc with 18 rare tracks from the 1990 demo "Premonatry Inscription", the 1991 demo "Human Atrophy" and the 1992 demo "Pain", as well as 3 songs from different compilations from the early 90s. Other upcoming releases by AreaDeath Productions include DISMANTLE – 2nd album, SQUAD – full discography CD, BARBATOS – 1st album reissue with demo "1942", BARBATOS – unreleased live album, NATAS / NOT US – full discography compilation 2 CD and DECEASED – “Cadaver Traditions” 2 CD (48 cover songs, plus a long story, written by King Fowley, about the Metal-Punk history and what influenced DECEASED and himself).
The remastered PROTECTOR vinyl re-releases "Misanthrophy" (green vinyl + "Protector Of Death" demo as bonus), "Golem" and "Urm The Mad" will be out through To The Death Records on March 15, 2012 (official distribution through Blood Harvest and High Roller Records). A strictly limited "Wolfsburg" package (100 copies) includes black / red / yellow vinyls together with a 16 page booklet, a backpatch and a bonus 7" from DEATH ATTACK (re-recorded in 2009 with Martin Missy on vocals). SPECKMANN (MASTER) have inked a deal with AreaDeath Productions for the re-issue of their "Project" album that was recorded at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida in 1991 and produced by Scott Burns. Nuclear Blast Records didn’t agree with the mix of MASTER’s 1990 debut, that’s why Paul Speckmann suggested to re-do the original MASTER CD with a few new tracks and a new line-up. In the end the 1990 recordings got released as the self-titled MASTER album anyway and this recording was additionally released by Nuclear Blast, entitled SPECKMANN – "Project". The re-release will be limited to 1000 handnumbered copies and features all lyrics, rare photos, a new cover, slipcase packaging plus an extra A1 sized poster and the first MASTER demo as bonus. The extended booklet also includes an interview with Paul Speckmann about the "Project" story.
Hellthrasher Productions will release a CD by GOAT TYRANT, entitled "Thy Summoning Of Three Demonic Rituals", on February 20, 2012. The CD features demos of the band from the 2004 – 2008 period of their career. The material originally already got released on MC by Thai Slava Productions in 2010, but this CD re-release comes with brand new artwork by Bartek Kurzok and a 12-page booklet. Swedish OPERA DIABOLICUS (featuring members from KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, THERION, DREAM EVIL and more) have released a video for the song ‘Blood Countess Bathory’ at this location. The video is more or less a 10 minute long short movie and includes acting scenes, epic scenery and a great deal of dark atmosphere and blood. It was filmed and edited by 11Frames from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band will be releasing their debut "1614" on January 20, 2012 via Metalville Records. It features, among others, Snowy Shaw (KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, NOTRE DAME, THERION, DIMMU BORGIR), Mats Levén (KRUX, THERION), Niklas Isfeldt (DREAM EVIL), Jake E (AMARANTHE, DREAMLAND) and Camilla Alisander-Ason on vocals. On March 23, 2012 F.D.A. Records will release "Deathevokation", the debut full-length by Germany’s old school Deathers REVEL IN FLESH. The band was formed in 2011 and features members and former members of IMMORTAL RITES (R.I.P), DAWN OF DREAMS and APOPHIS. Century Media Records have signed French old school Death Metallers NECROWRETCH. The band’s guitarist / vocalist Vlad comments: “We are of course very happy and proud to join the Century Media Records family in which we already feel really comfortable! We are convinced that this collaboration is for us a unique chance to work in the best conditions with experienced and passionate people. We are now eagerly waiting to start working on our first unholy album. Finally, I would like to thank Jens Prüter, Philipp Schulte and Jerry Maréchal for their confidence and dedication!” NECROWRETCH will start writing their first album after the release of their first 7” EP on Detest Records. This 7” will be released on March 10, 2012, when the band will play their first German show at the release party of the new ASPHYX album at the Turock club in Essen, followed by an appearance at the Hell’s Pleasure Festival July 20 and July 21, 2012 in Pößneck, East Germany.
Iron Pegasus Records will soon release an album by SADISTIC INTENT entitled "Official Bootleg". Originally the band never intended to release these recordings, but due to the fact that bootlegs have already popped up (that are being sold for ridiculous prices), they decided to put them out in a proper way (with background info, etc). "Official Bootleg" will include the unreleased first recording session of songs that originally were meant to be on the long awaited "The Second Coming" album plus some additional songs that are exclusively chosen for this album. "The Second Coming" (the album) will still be recorded in a proper way, perhaps still in 2012.
