Brazil’s GRAVE DESECRATOR is now officially part of the Pulverised Records roster. The band is now focused and geared up for the next full-length effort, which will see the light of day with a possible 2012 release. Relapse Records have released a compilation of MORTA SKULD recordings from olden times called "Through The Eyes Of Death: The Early Demos". The album combines the band’s two 1990 demos, "Gory Departure" and "Prolong The Agony", on one disc. Both demos were remastered for the collection by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound. Pennsylvania / New York based Death Metallers FUNERUS will release their second full-length album "Reduced To Sludge" on November 22, 2011 through Ibex Moon Records. The band features INCANTATION guitarist John McEntee, bassist / vocalist Jill McEntee and drummer Sam Inzerra (MORTICIAN, MORPHEUS DESCENDS). The album was engineered by Sam Inzerra, Jim Roe and John McEntee. Drums and guitars were recorded at Neanderthal Studios in Plainfield, New Jersey and the bass and vocals were recorded at Aries Studio in Johnstown, PA. "Reduced To Sludge" was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, DARK FUNERAL, DISSECTION, HAIL OF BULLETS, OPETH). The cover artwork was done by Dusty Peterson (SIX FEET UNDER, CATTLE DECAPITATION, BLOODBATH). The track ‘Sound Of Oil’ is available for streaming on the band’s Facebook page. Jill McEntee comments on the album, "I feel we were able to capture the natural FUNERUS essence on this album. It continues in the same vein of the first album "Festering Earth", in heaviness and songwriting. I think it will be well received." NECROWRETCH will soon record their first 7" EP which will be released on Detest Records in February 2012. Before that new offering, Detest Records will release a tape compiling both sold out band’s early demos. A repress of the "Putrefactive Infestation" 12" MLP will also occur in early 2012.
ENTRAPMENT are about to complete all aspects of their first 7" EP which will be released on Detest Records at the end of October / early November 2012.
SWALLOWED is about to record its first full-length album. The vinyl version will be handled by Me Saco Un Ojo Records and Detest Records while the CD version will be released through Dark Descent Records.

Ola Larsson, who’s responsible for the DISMA "Towards The Megalith" album cover, recently started working on the cover artwork of the 12" version of DISMA’S "The Vault Of Membros" demo to be released on Detest Records within 2 or 3 months.

DESASTER have announced to enter Toxomusic Studios in Koblenz, Germany the 20th of October with Wally Walldorf behind the helm. "Clairvoyance", the third demo of HAZAEL, was just re-released on CD by Polish Psycho Records. The material was extremely inspired by old NIHILIST, GRAVE, NIRVAVA 2002 or ENTOMBED. The founder and leader of the band – Tomek Dobrzeniecki, is responsible for the graphic design. The twelve page booklet includes full lyrics, photos and interviews with HAZAEL. The CD also contains a multimedia section with a 1992 concert (the only recorded four piece performance with Wojtek Stasiak on bass). The first 100 copies come with a band poster and pin. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, PESTILENCE, HATESPHERE) at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark this summer.
