Chile’s Proselytism Records are going to release a split CD with the two participants AFTER DEATH (USA) and UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN (Chile) around April 2010. UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN’s vinylversion of "People Of The Monolith" should be available through Blood Harvest Records soon, too.

BESTIAL DEATH‘s "Suicide Of The Immortal" demo is finally out now through Israhellbanger Records. Here’s the label’s official press statement: "After being buried and forgotten for 25 years, one of the most evil and uncompromising sounding Death / Thrash demos ever is unleashed by Israhellbanger Records in the classic tape format, as it should have been done in 1986, when it was recorded! These 3 young Israeli maniacs created a demo that makes "Morbid Visions" sound like "Arise"! "Suicide Of The Immortal"’s music can be compared to what such classic South American bands as VULCANO, PARABELLUM and PENTAGRAM used to play back then. Expect 5 chaotic rituals of blasphemy that now sound even stronger, after being mastered for the first time!" For more info and ordering information contact www.israhellbanger.com

In preparation for the festival, THORNAFIRE will join Chilean Death / Thrashers PENTAGRAM for a pair of shows in Santiago and the port city of Valparaiso. Regarding the anticipated follow up to 2009’s "Vorex Deconstrucción", THORNAFIRE guitarist Victor Mac-Namara states: "Currently we are writing music a little different than what we have done in the past. It’s a variation, but still true to our underground Death Metal underground roots. I’m drawing concepts for the album artwork. We hope to have this released by 2012." The band’s video for ‘Deconstruccion’ can be viewed at this location. The clip was filmed, produced and edited by Daniel Duarte (a member of the fellow Chilean Death Metal act EXECRATOR) in a professional TV studio in Santiago. ‘Deconstruccion’ was previously described by THORNAFIRE bassist / vocalist Alexis Munoz as a "futuristic song inspired by the religious and social decline experienced in the current era Eon oh Hourus." Swedish Death Metallers VOMITORY have finished the recordings of their eighth studio album entitled "Opus Mortis VIII". Comments the band: "On Sunday, December 19th, we completed the work on the eighth VOMITORY album that we have entitled "Opus Mortis VIII". It’s our eighth musical work of death, so we think it’s a very fitting title and we have some nice things going on artwork-wise for this one. Producer and studio owner Rikard Löfgren has done a tremendous job to get the best sounding VOMITORY album to date – no competition! We are so fucking happy with the result. The production is absolutely top-notch and the material offers diversity and dynamics that you haven’t quite heard from VOMITORY before. You will get 14 songs altogether and roughly 54 minutes playing time." "Opus Mortis VIII" will be released in the spring of 2011. More info and updates at www.myspace.com/vomitoryswe

ARTILLERY is currently working on the follow-up to their highly acclaimed album "When Death Comes" (2009) at Medley Studios, Denmark. The new album is entitled "My Blood" and will be released by Metal Mind Productions in March 2011. So far ARTILLERY recorded 14 songs – 10 brand new tracks, a remake of ‘Ain’t Giving In’ (from 1992’s "Mind Factory" demo) and 3 bonus tracks which are all new versions of timeless classics from the 1985’s album "Fear Of Tomorrow" (‘The Eternal War’, ‘The Almighty’ and ‘Show Your Hate’). Soren Adamsen, ARTILLERY’s vocalist and producer of the album, revealed a few titles of the new tracks. He also described the lyrics for those tracks: "’The Great Satan’ – it’s a song about the decadence of the western society and evil empires all around the world. ‘Monster’ – a song about serial killers. None in particular. ‘Death Is An Illusion’ – a track about life and death. ‘The End Of Eternity’ – dealing with depression and thoughts about starting a new life. ‘Mi Sangre’ – it’s about my son. It’s a 7 and a half-minute song, almost an epic endeavor. ‘Concealed In The Dark’ – two words – David Sharp. Go search for it on the internet, it’s an interesting story. ‘Dark Days’ – it’s about the change in the climate. ‘Warrior Blood’ – a song about fighting. Soldiers, prize-fighters, people who are struggling with deadly diseases." Guitarist Michael Stützer adds: "The sound is a bit more heavy than it was on "When Death Comes". The music is a mixture of our previous albums "When Death Comes" and "By Inheritance", with a slight touch of "Terror Squad" and "Fear Of Tomorrow" with some oriental pieces." The release date of "My Blood" is set for March 09, 2011 in Japan (via Kings Records), March 21, 2011 in Europe and April 05, 2011 in USA (via MVD). Full details to be announced soon.
