Spain’s NOCTEM will start composing new material this summer for the successor of their 2009 album "Divinity". It will be the second part of the trilogy that started with "Divinity". On July 30, Cyclone Empire Records will release "Slakthus Gamleby", the third album by Swedish DEMIURG. The band consists of Rogga J. Italian Death Metallers HUMANGLED will be filming a video for the track ‘Liquidfire’, from their Abyss Records debut, "Fractal". The band has teamed up with award-winning director / screenwriter Vincezno Ricchiuto for the shoot. Filming is scheduled to get underway this month. Guitarist Luke Scurb has this to say about the video’s subject matter, "’Liquidfire’ is a severe analysis of the loss of consciousness due to drug abuses. F.D.A. Records will be re-releasing "Impulse To Destroy", the legendary debut album by Germany’s Death / Grinders BLOOD on July 15, 2010. Just like the original release it will once again be out on vinyl and is limited to 500 copies (150 on red vinyl, 50 on red / black marbled vinyl and 300 on black vinyl).
On November 17, 2010 "Tales From The Morgue", the debut full-length by Sweden’s old school Deathers ENTRAILS, will also be released on vinyl via F.D.A. Records www.fda-records.com. In the early months of 2010 Pete Slate (EQUINOX / KAULDRON / ex-ACHERON / ex-INCUBUS), together with former EQUINOX drummer Stephen Spillers formed a new band called DRUID LORD (further members will be announced soon). Musically you can expect some heavy Doom / old school Death Metal in the CELTIC FROST, AUTOPSY, WINTER direction, with lyrical inspirations from cult Horror movies and occult themes as well as "anything creepy or eerie". Horror and Gore artist Putrid (who had already worked for HOODED MENACE, FRIGHTMARE, REVOLTING, FONDLE CORPSE and NUNSLAUGHTER) will be doing the artwork for the band’s 4 song debut EP which is tentatively entitled "Hymns For The Wicked". INCARCERATION is a new Death Metal outfit which started their activities in 2010. The band takes influences from such names as ENTOMBED, UNLEASHED, INTERMENT, VOMITORY, GRAVE, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MONSTROSITY or KAAMOS. AFM Records have signed UK Thrashers ONSLAUGHT. The band is currently recording a new album which will see the light of day soon.
