2022 is coming to an end and longtime readers of VOICES FROM THE DARKSIDE will already know what that means. In our good old tradition, we would like to hear from you, which ten releases impressed you the most the past twelve months. So please send us a list with your ten personal faves for our BEST OF 2022 READERS POLL. It can be albums, EPs or demos. The chronological order doesn’t matter, but they must have been released in 2022. Send your lists to bestof2022@voicesfromthedarkside.de until December 30, 2022 the latest. The results will be published in early 2023.
On February 03, 2023 Personal Records will release a double EP from international Black Metallers CARATHIS, entitled “Moonstone & Amethyst”, on CD format. It includes two EP recordings – 2021’s “The Amethyst Fortress”, previously only available digitally, and the otherwise unreleased “The Moonstone Prophecy”. Salt Lake City, Utah based Death Metallers SACRILEGION are streaming their debut album “From Which Nightmares Crawl” in its entirety at this location now. It will be released on December 09, 2022 via Chaos Records on CD and cassette tape formats. The vinyl edition will follow next year. Denver, Colorado’s LACERATED have just released a video for ‘Grotesque’ over here. The track appears on the band’s debut EP “The Vile Domain”, which was released on Halloween 2022.
