A full album stream of “Ancient Breath Of Forgotten Misanthropy”, the third album from Polish Death Metallers DIRA MORTIS, is available at this location now. It will be released on December 25, 2020 via Selfmadegod Records. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Roslyn Studios with producer Krzysztof Godycki and the cover art and layout was supplied by Bartomiej Kurzok. In order to collect money for all the front line COVID workers in Italy, several Metal musicians have joined forces for a BLACK SABBATH tribute project entitled SABBATONERO. VENOM INC’s Tony Dolan (who plays bass on all of the songs and sings on ‘N.I.B.’) commented on the project as follows: “Christmas Eve 2020 brings to an end one extraordinary year for us all. Therefore to do something positive and show the amazing talent and strength of our Metal community across the globe… I’m presenting you… from Brazil to Japan… USA to Europe… our Metal guests joining me with our “Tribute To Black Sabbath” in our own styles but together and with our greatest respect for their amazing songs but even more their influence on us all.” In February 2021 an album entitled “L’Uomo Di Ferro – A Tribute To Black Sabbath” will be released, first just digitally, but followed by vinyl and CD versions later on as well. The following tracks will be featured on it: ‘Symptom Of The Universe’, ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’, ‘N.I.B.’, ‘Killing Yourself To Live’, ‘Heaven & Hell’, ‘Paranoid’, ‘Children Of The Grave’, ‘A National Acrobat’, ‘Hole In the Sky’ and ‘War Pigs’. Apart from VENOM INC’s Tony Dolan the core of SABBATONERO consists of Francesco Conte (NEROMEGA / SPIRITUAL FRONT) on guitars, Filippo Marcheggiani (BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO) on guitars and Riccardo Spilli (BALLETO DI BRONZO) on drums. But the list of guest musicians is endless. On vocals you’ll hear Rasmus Bom Anderson (DIAMOND HEAD), Steve Sylvester (DEATH SS), Maksymina Kuzianik (SCARCERATION), Mayara Puertas (TORTURE SQUAD), Tony D’Alessio (BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO), Fleigas (NECRODEATH), John Gallagher (RAVEN), Simone Salvatori (SPIRITUAL FRONT), Andrea Zanetti (MONUMENTUM) and James Rivera (HELSTAR). Guitar solos have been contributed by Marty Friedman, Mantas (VENOM INC), Terence Hobbs (SUFFOCATION), Prika Amaral (NERVOSA), Ken Andrews (OBITUARY), Sonia Nusselder (CRYPTA / COBRA SPELL, ex – BURNING WITCHES), Russ Tippins (SATAN), Atitila Voros (LEANDER RISING, ex – TYR / NEVERMORE / SATYRICON), Wiley Arnet (SACRED REICH) and James Murphy (DISINCARNATE, ex – DEATH / TESTAMENT / OBITUARY).
