The book will be entitled STREAMS OF ANCIENT WISDOM: THE HISTORY OF DUTCH DEATH METAL and features more than 100 interviews with bands like ASPHYX, PESTILENCE, SINISTER, THANATOS, GOREFEST, SEMPITERNAL DEATHREIGN, DELIRIUM, PHLEBOTOMIZED, DEAD HEAD, ACROSTICHON, SILENXCE, MORTHRA, EXCISION, DEAD END, PENTACLE, CELESTIAL SEASON, INQUISITOR and many more. Steven also interviewed a lot of people who worked for magazines (Wim Baelus, Anthony van den Berg), record companies (Roadrunner, DSFA Records, Foundation 2000, Displeased Records), radio shows (Stampij, VARA’s Vuurwerk, Thrashing Madness), recording studios (Excess Studio, Beaufort Studio) and important venues. Many foreign bands (PARADISE LOST, MY DYING BRIDE, CARCASS, REVENANT, MESSIAH, IMMOLATION, VADER, ENSLAVED, MASTER etc.) also share their view on the Dutch scene and there will be tons of rare and previously unpublished photographs and artwork included.
