Short-lived Tampa, Florida based Death / Thrashers EPITAPH released two demos in the early 90s: a three-song demo that was recorded in 1991 with Tom Morris at Morrisound Recording (featuring backing vocals from OBITUARY’s John Tardy) and a two-song demo in 1992, also recorded at Morrisound, but this time with Scott Burns. In August this year Divebomb Records will re-release those two demos on a CD entitled “Echoes Entombed: The Demo Anthology (1991 – 1992)”, with three bonus tracks that were remixed by Mark Lewis at MRL Studios outside Nashville. The whole material was remastered by Jamie King Audio and the booklet will be packed with lyrics, archival photographs and a retrospective interview with the entire classic line-up of the band. On April 28, 2020 Finnish Doom / Deathers VAINAJA released a new digital EP entitled “Kiviristi”.
