On June 27, 2025 the very first studio session of MOTÖRHEAD‘s classic line-up, Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor will be released as a deluxe expanded bookpack (including a double vinyl and a 7″ single), as well as a regular vinyl LP, CD and digitally. The material for “The Manticore Tapes” was recorded in August 1976 at the Manticore Studio of EMERSON, LAKE AND PALMER in Fulham. It was restored by longtime MOTÖRHEAD collaborator Cameron Webb at Maple Studios in California and mastered by Andrew Alekel at Bolskine House in Los Angeles. The following tracks will be featured on the regular LP and CD: ‘Intro (Instrumental)’, ‘Leavin’ Here’, ‘Vibrator’, ‘Help Keep Us On The Road’, ‘The Watcher’, ‘Motörhead’, ‘Witch Doctor (Instrumental)’, ‘Iron Horse / Born To Lose (Instrumental)’, ‘Leavin’ Here (Alternate Take)’, ‘Vibrator (Alternate Take)’ and ‘The Watcher (Alternate Take)’.
