UK based atmospheric Black Metal one man band ETHEREAL SHROUD will release a new album entitled “Trisagion” on December 10, 2021. Musically it is supposed to be “…weaving between the Death / Doom and Funeral Doom passages of MOURNING BELOVETH and BELL WITCH and the grandiose, massive Black Metal of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM and SUMMONING…” The following lengthy tracks will appear on it: ‘Chasmal Fires’, ‘Discarnate’, ‘Astral Mariner’ and ‘Lanterns’ (bonus track, physical releases only). The album was recorded at main man Joe Hawker’s home studio in Sheffield, England. The drums were recorded at session drummer John Kerr’s home, while Richard Spencer contributed bass and viola.
