Swiss Black / Death Metallers IMPALEMENT have just released a first song from their upcoming sophomore full-length “The Dawn Of Blackened Death”. You can check out a lyric video for ‘Legio Nihil’ at this location. The follow-up to 2020’s debut “The Impalement” will be self-released on October 27, 2023 on CD, vinyl LP and digitally. It was recorded by Jens “Pestilence“ Förster at AMP Studios in Duisburg, Germany and mixed and mastered by Andy Classen (Stage One Studios). The cover artwork was created by Carlos “Black Shadows“ Aguilar. The full tracklist of the album reads like this: ‘The Herd Marches On’, ‘Dawn Of Blackened Death’, ‘Legio Nihil’, ‘The Old Ones’, ‘Will To Power’, ‘Death To The Gods’ and ‘Chosen By Tragedy’. The band will promote “The Dawn Of Blackened Death” on the “Fear The Eternal Return” Tour in November / December 2023 with GORGOROTH.
