United forces of Thrash Metal… rejoice! At least Indian CHAOS seem to have lotsa good and friendly fun on their debut album, titled "Violent Redemption". PANTERA-tinged, influenced by EXODUS, strongly Bay Area reeking, aggressive Hardcor-ish Thrash Metal is what this Indian foursome not only tries to be but is all about. CHAOS released "Violent Redemption" on their own in 2013, and hopefully they don’t have to release their follow-up album the same way because they do have lots of potential in them, to kick off a bigger wheel rollin’ for better things ahead of them. I mean, with an album like "Violent Redemption" – and what it represents content wise, it would be easy to think CHAOS would be snapped soon by some label. However, then again I believe as the music business has turned ugly and greed over the recent past years, label owners may see a dilemma there, to start promoting a band coming from India. To make CHAOS to gain some success on other continents but in their own home country India only, these four Indian fellows should be taken out for a tour – and that’s where some problems may start coming towards them. I bet people in today’s music biz may have a very short-sighted way to think it’s really damn difficult to make things happening for bands coming from a bit more obscure and distant countries like India, unless they don’t relocate to Europe or the US territory – just no matter how good they might be, and how ready they would be to take the whole world by a fair storm warning. Well, enough said ’bout that matter though; this should – first and foremost, be a music review anyway. But really, let’s face it: If CHAOS came from the U.S.A., they would have been signed a long time ago by some label. I mean, they do their own thing so convincingly and well on "Violent Redemption" that if I wasn’t told this particular CHAOS comes from India, I personally would probably have placed them somewhere to the Bay Area on the map of global Metal. They have got some true songwriting sense to come up with a plenty of absolutely killer songs that many other bands would kill for. "Violent Redemption" is full of nice ear candies for Thrash Metal fans, so please support this band as they do deserve much more recognition than they have gained thus far.
