DARK ELITE is a new band on the map of the Finnish extreme Metal scene that features 4 musicians that have gained quite much band experience in such bands as BATTLELORE, AVATHAR, KHERT-NETER and so on. DARK ELITE represents sort of the most extreme end of all Metal genres, combining elements from Death, Black and Doom Metal into the band’s all things cosmic-reeking extreme Metal. The main emphasis is on Death Metal here though, reminding me a bit of German SULPHUR AEON at places by their all-swallowing, pitch-black atmospheres music wise. As for the debut cassette EP only release, this is a very powerful tour de force from this Finnish act, and I am only hoping the band’s potential will be recognized on a wider scale soon.
