I really adore Gustave Dorè and so it is always a pleasure for me to see a Death Metal band using his amazing artwork. DEATHCHAMBER from Sweden is one of those bands which chose his work for the cover / backcover of its debut demo "His Will Be Done". The music on this debut demo can be best described as blasphemous US style Death Metal in the vein of Deicide, Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel and their Swedish country mates AEON. Definitely not the most original stuff but the four songs are awesome, well produced and furious Death Metal with a great voice. Although I definitely don’t like keyboards I have to admit that the way DEATHCHAMBER uses them now and then is a really cool addition to the unholy and sinister sound.
