This is the debut album by the Mexican Death Metal band DEATHCRUSH. Formed in 2002 and after several line up changes they are now attacking the listener with a blazing assault. Fast, aggressive Death Metal, the way KRISIUN or REBAELLIUN used to play on their early releases. The production, especially the drum sound, is not what one would call high-class, but they are from Mexico and I guess it is not that easy to find a good studio and / or producer in such countries when it comes to Death Metal. But it is the only inconvenience of this release and I really like this kind of rough sound, it fits to the music. As the title suggests, the whole album is animated by strong anti-christian and satanic philosophy, underlined by song-titles like ‘God Betray’ or ‘Against The Shit Catholic Church’. Accordingly the vocals are a little bit high-pitched, giving the whole output a kind of Black Metal atmosphere. Of course one will not find any kind of progressive influences on this release, like keyboards or female voices, nothing more than a great collection of Satanic Death Metal songs.
