DEMOLISHER
Plague District

Holy molly… being 6 long years in the process, Finnish Death Metal torpedo DEMOLISHER finally gets its debut studio full-length recorded, titled "Plague District". DEMOLISHER employs MORBID ANGEL type of pompous heaviness, DEMIGOD’s eerie and crawling set of deadly riffs within their partly modern – partly old school Death Metal, also adding a fair dose of progressive elements into the songs that make this album overall a somewhat stellar release as wholeness. There’s lots of depth and different layers lying beneath their songs on "Plague District", and it makes me happy to realize how much the guys have used their time for composing all this material to make it sound this great. They haven’t held back with their creative juices a bit but letting them flow for the advantage of the songs, just for reaching some favorable results out of all of these intense song making sessions they have had when putting this stuff together. The album’s opener ‘Gathering Shadows’ – as well as the next track, ‘Dark Circle’, are both insanely and genuinely heavy as fuck. Speaking of certain facts, DEMOLISHER have pretty much done everything correctly on their surprisingly strong debut album that should get a few taps on their shoulders from Death Metal fans. There’s not a rushed feeling on the record at all, and "Plague District" being only DEMOLISHER’s debut album – with all those carefully thought-out single details in it, it’s relatively easy even to predict a pretty darn bright future for them. Great job guys… great job indeed! www.myspace.com/demolisherband, www.deformation-recordings.webs.com
