NAPOLEON SKULLFUKK
He Came With Rats

Finnish skullfuckin’ Death Metal machine NAPOLEON SKULLFUKK is among us again – only this time with their debut full-length record titled "He Came With Rats", offering us 8 pieces of a crushed human skull. NAPOLEON SKULLFUKK have released a couple of EPs ("Torture Metal" in 2008 and "Swollen" in 2010) prior to this release, plus both of their EPs have also been released on a compilation CD in 2011 by Dynamic Arts Records. "He Came With Rats" – with its eight songs on it, is a pretty good release all in all if you just happen to like a mid-paced / slow tempo, groovy and grinding Death Metal with those ‘is-there-a-deranged-pig-stuck-in-a-sewer-pipe’ type of Death Metal grunts, I mean. I could believe that especially the fans of SIX FEET UNDER and TORTURE KILLER would find "We Came With Rats" somewhat fascinating and exciting to them due to a similar approach that the NAPOLEON SKULLFUKK squad adopted on their debut. The songs indeed do have some instant yet precious crushing value in them that keep a listener’s focus on them a bit longer than one could expect at first but after a while, however, this album sadly tends to grow old a bit too soon – leaving unfortunately a big, pale bone in your hands only, and nothing more really to be honest with all of you. Some of you may still be curious about checking this out, so by all means feel free to do so. I’m done with this anyway. Uhm, next… More at: www.napoleon-skullfukk.com, www.dynamicartsrecords.com
