TYRANTS BLOOD

Nero, Ivan the Terrible, Vlad Tepes; all of their reigns are forcibly compressed into this wondrous EP by TYRANTS BLOOD, a young band with very little left to prove if this EP reaches enough ears. There are some noodley SUFFOCATION-esque loops that bespeak a modern-day Death Metal influence, but rather than drag the songs down, these technical parts are a moving component, not a stand-alone block of useless stuff the guitarist uses to show off with. This band is an equal opportunity punisher, utilizing various commonplace, but nonetheless effective methods of attack. Among their arsenal is: the aforementioned technical approach, the blast-beat, the rapidly ascendant, then crashing riff, and, of course, perfect death-rattle vocals. Yes indeed, TYRANTS BLOOD is a force to be reckoned with. www.myspace.com/tyrantsblood, www.invictusproductions.net
