French old school Death Metallers AFFLICTION GATE have posted samples of their pre-production / demo 2011 at www.myspace.com/afflictiongate. All three songs will appear on their upcoming MCD "Shattered Ante Mortem Illusions" which will released via German Metal Inquisition Records before this Summer.
Century Media Records have signed MORBUS CHRON from Sweden. The band commented on this as follows: “Always expect the unexpected. MORBUS CHRON are thrilled to join the ranks of Century Media Records. We know that with greater assistance and sturdier tools, the more clearly we can focus our attention solely on the music. So it is with big smiles that we ink this deal tonight. Expect to have us around for a while.” MORBUS CHRON’s first live appearance in Germany will take place at the Hell’s Pleasure Festival in Pößneck on July 20 and July 21, 2012 along with Century Media label mates SONNE ADAM and NECROWRETCH. AFTER DEATH (featuring ex – MORBID ANGEL / INCUBUS / NOCTURNUS member Mike Browning) and Chile’s UNAUSSPRECHLICHEN KULTEN have teamed up for a split album entitled “Dwellers Of The Deep / The Madness From The Sea”. The release comes as a giant digipak double CD with a giant insert and includes liner notes about the whole concept as well as all the lyrics with Spanish / English translations. Belgium’s blackened Death Metallers EMPTINESS (featuring members of ENTHRONED) will be releasing their third full length album "Error" via Dark Descent Records on May 22, 2012. The tracklisting reads like this: ‘Deafer’, ‘Error’, ‘It And I’, ‘Worst’, ‘Dissolution’, ‘Not Enough’, ‘Low’, ‘Nothing’ and ‘No Earth’. The album’s layout was done by Brussels based Blackout Media and features a four-panel digipak on upgraded matte finish card stock with an eight page booklet.
