Finnish Death Metallers ABHORRENCE have just released a video for their new single ‘Old Age, Sickness And Death Metal’ at this location. The song is a tribute to the classics of the Death Metal genre. Each line of the song’s lyrics features one album of the late ’80s and early ’90s era of classic Death Metal. The video features animated versions of covers of some of the albums mentioned in the track. The cover of the digital single is a direct reference and a tribute to POSSESSED’s “Seven Churches”. It was created by Olli Nurminen, the guitarist of XYSMA, one of the bands with whom ABHORRENCE often played shows together back then. “This is our small way of respecting the heroes of our youth, and also many of our contemporaries in Scandinavia”, says Jussi Ahlroth, the band’s bass player who wrote the lyrics for the song. “This is ABHORRENCE saying thank you to all the great pioneers who changed our lives with their music.” www.facebook.com/abhorrencefin

Sardinian blackened Death Metallers SHARDANA have just released a lyric video for ‘Is Cerbus’ at this location. The track will be featured on the band’s upcoming third full-length “The Monarch”, which will be released on September 05, 2015 on CD and digital formats via Rude Awakening Records. It was produced and mixed at Overcore Studio by Lorenzo Mariani, with additional engineering by Daniele Manca.
