On August 28, 2020 Testimony Records will release “Drowned By Blood”, the debut full length of Tokyo based old school Death Metallers FROSTVORE, on CD, LP (transparent blood red / black splatter vinyl and black vinyl) and digitally. It was recorded, mixed and mastered in February 2020 by the band itself. The artwork was supplied by Japanese artist Kenro Imamura. A first track, entitled ‘Blackfield’, can already be checked out at this location. Finnish blackened Death / Thrashers FRONT have just revealed a video for ‘Venom & Salt’ at this location. The track is taken from the band’s new mini album “Antichrist Militia”, which was released on June 05, 2020 via Iron Bonehead Productions on CD and 12″ vinyl. Tape versions will follow later this summer / autumn via Von Wolfsblood and Funeral Hymns (exclusively in North America) and Davao Hellbangers (exclusively in Asia). Guitarist / songwriter Von Bastard commented on the video as follows: “As we made the “Antichrist Militia” record by ourselves all the way – produced, engineered, recorded, mixed – we wanted to try if we could pull out a video also. We didn’t want to do another mindless and easy lyric video with few still images looping around mindlessly like the trend is today. We wanted to do the video in an old school way, and I think we captured that spirit. The video was made with zero budget, DIY all the way. It really is an honest attempt, despite its warts and all.
