If it comes to Voices From The Darkside there are suitable and more suitable releases but this split EP from two dedicated underground bands which really deserve their cult status is like the hammer to nail Jesus Christ to his wooden crucifix. EVIL from Brazil and ABIGAIL from Japan are friendly connected since years and "Raw Black Thrashing Madness" is a dedication to the old gods of Black / Thrash Metal. The split comes as a gatefold cover with a great artwork and poster and an additional lyrics sheet and is strictly limited to only 400 items and therefore one of the – these days very rare – releases from fans for fans. Music wise the title says everything with two very dirty and Thrash touched Black Metal tracks whereas EVIL’s concentration is more on the raw and black part and ABIGAIL with their track ‘Hammer Of Damnation’ is praising the good old Thrash Metal.
