HOODED MENACE
Gloom Immemorial

"Gloom Immemorial" is not the new album of these Finnish Death / Doom Metallers as we could expect, but a compilation of their rare recordings. The CD (or CD box, as you can get such version as well), includes eleven songs taken from "The Eyeless Horde" demo, the "Live Evil" compilation, the split releases with ASPHYX, ILSA, LOSS, ANIMA MORTE, COFFINS and HORSE LATITUDES, as well as from the brilliant "Labyrinth Of Carrion Breeze" 12" EP. The mentioned CD box version is quite interesting, as except for the regular CD it includes a collection of printed cards with original artworks, and song credits on the backside. HOODED MENACE work hard to establish their position in the underground, and basically it works, as they are already much respected, what doesn’t happen that often in case of young bands (they started in 2007). Cool artwork, almost 76 minutes of high quality Metal – surely a release worth its price. Recommended for both HOODED MENACE die hards, and for all those why wish to check out the band for the first time. So now, the new album please.
